I've never found the answer to running 2 separate amps compared to one big amp. I know that the MTX amps are usually underrated, so I'm kinda counting on it to run a little hotter than 1500WRMS.
So what is yall's suggestions: 1 big amp or 2 smaller connected to 2 subs?
I'll be running two subs, probably the likes of a couple RE SX 10's. I'm new to this entire arena of $200.00+ subs, so any advice would be much appreciated. I've also read about the Stereo Integrity Mag 12's, but I can't find any specs on the size or preferred enclosure sizes. I've got little room to install my subs, so I'm trying to find some powerful subs that can handle power and be LOUD! That's what we're all hear for right? I don't compete or anything like that, I just like overkill. And if I can satisfy my desires in my truck, then we'll work on the boat next.
