They have moved EchoStar 4 @ 157.oW to 77.oW. They also moved some Channels from EchoStar 3 @ 61.5W to Rainbow 1 @ 61.5W. All Channels on transponders 18, 23, and 24 on AMC 16 @ 118.75W moved to Anik F-3 now located @ 119.oW. No time for Key change on you, Crum Snatcher. "Enjoy"
Kevin, Could you pls explain me what is a transponder? When I check the signal on DN reciever there is box where the transponder can be changed but no TP. In the FTA reciever I do not find any transponders but see the TP. Also how can I scan/watch Rainbow 1 bird. It is not in the list of birds in my VS Ultra nor Pansat 3500. Thx in advance
Hey Kaka A TransPonder is a transmitter and receiver installed on Satellites. TP is the abbreviation of a TransPonder.
You will need to add Rainbow 1 to your receiver. Edit TP/Satellite Select NEW, it should be located at the bottom of satellite name list. Enter the new satellite name by using the numeric keys.
U are the jerk that bust my balls and bashes me on this Dss satellite forums, and U don't even know who "Charlie" is?....U are pathetic and have only 1 intent here, to disrupt this site and FTA!!...just as I've been saying all along about U and nalin, who will now come to your rescue, like a hero..
So Kevin, if the dish is pointed at 61.5W for Echo3, the Rainbow 1 can be scanned just by selecting it from the sat list, right? If it's not available in the list, then it needs to be added manually along with corresponding TPs and their appropriate frequencies. Thanks.
