Alpine or Kicker?

Now I am getting up a bit confused in choosing a sub. I wam confused betwenn Alpine type R and Kicker CVR12 D4. What you guys say, which one should be good in term of life and sound? I need loudness but with a clear sound. IT hink its called SPL, isnt it?

I upgraded to Alpine Type R's (2 of them) and they slam. They are 12" and have seen under 3 hours of music. If you are interested I could hook you up. Do you live in India?

That means IS hould go for Type Rs.. ok So another question is the car has stock alt (70-80 ampere) installing an amp of around 1000 RMS will be ok with that or should I have to change the alt? I dont upgrade, any effect on electrical system?
