New member Username: D33jayPost Number: 1 Registered: May-07 | I recently removed my Sony X-Plod Stereo to replace it with another. All went easy until I got no sound from any of the four speakers. Double checked wires, tested stereo with external speaker and it works. All of a sudden no sound, even with the old stereo put back in. What did I do? All grounds test good. All speakers test good.Is there a common connector somewhere? |

I removed a speaker from the van door to test and the speaker works. I continuity checked the wires to the door and they register open. I cannot believe that all 8 wires broke or grounded. I should get sound or even static or a crackle out of at least 1 of the 4 speakers. That's why I was leaning toward some common connector or relay or something. I was reaching under the drivers side trying to get to the headlight switch release button to remove the shaft and be able to remove the overlay. I thought maybe I disconnected something. The old stereo worked. Now after I've been under the dash, none of them give sound. |
