Hey pals, Hi, once again I am asking for help, the image disappears and the receiver displays the message "no or bad signal" during several times a day, the antenna hasn't been moved, and without any doing of my part the signal returns... hours later. Has anyone this problem? What can it be? What can I do, please advise.

a switch would be something such as a multidish switch/diseqc switch. You can find out if you have one if these switches if you check your cable coming from the lnb(dish on ur roof) and see if it attaches to something other than your receiver first..then you have another wire coming into your receiver.

I'm sure its either a switch/or cable as lk stated above. In which both are simple to replace tho the cable might be a pain in the @ss for some.

Also when u get this message...just try a simple reboot from the back of your receiver and it 'may' fix it.
