It allows the sub/s far better cooling. Not to mention, if your using a sub with a large basket and mag. your gonna notice a diff. do to change in displacment.

But like already stated, you don't have to account for sub displacement within the enclosure. And I had some subs inverted in the past, and it did look awesome.

So that was already mentioned. And cooling isn't going to effect SQ. And where did you read that the difference in cooling is significant? I have never read that there was a huge different.
