Alpine type r's..WHAT AMP??

New member Username: Mspatriot15NE Post Number: 2 Registered: May-07 | i just bought 2 SWR-1222D Alpine 12" Type-R.. i dont know n e thing bout this suff...i know eah of the subs are dual voice coil and 2 ohms.... 1500 peak power and 500 RMS each..i need to know how much watts..channels..etc. my amp needs to have to get the full 500 RMS outta each of the subs....im not lookin to spend over $200 for it maybe a little more..thanks everyone} |

The amp you get needs to be 2ohm stable. That JBL is probably your best bet. |

I've had my amp for 4 years and it's awesome. Isaac has personally tested their intake series amp and said it's a great deal for the money...the amp puts out the power and is decent quality. Anyway, go with that JBL b/c the audiobahn one's not the right match for the setup. |
