I sent this to CDT. what do you guys think. and which range do you guys think I should use. I know its user preference but I'm not that experienced and would like to know which range will probaly sound the best while keeping up with my subwoofers.

Emailed to CDT:
I want to run this system active for better control. I need to know how much power the M6 and DRT25 tweeter can handle at the following ranges.

M6 @ 80hz-3khz -
M6 @ 80hz-300hz -
M6 @ 300hz-3khz -
M6 @ 300hz-3.5khz -

Drt25 @ 3khz and up -
Drt25 @ 3.5khz and up -

I need to know how much power I can send to the M6 and Tweeters at the following ranges. Thank you, any information will be helpful.

I have a massive audio p800.4 for the M6 Drivers. It does 160rms @ 12.4volts and 200rms @ 14.4 volts

I have a Xtant 404M for the drt25 tweeters which does 50rms x 4

Does anyone know if the m6's can handle up to 200rms if I high pass them at a higher range such as 300hz-3khz or 3.5khz.

Whats the difference if I high pass tweeters at 3khz or 3.5khz. Besides handling power, what would I notice in hearing. Will it sound less if I high pass it at 3khz? Will it be stronger if I high pass it at 3.5khz?

Just thought I would ask here before CDT gets a chance to respond.

you cant run them at 300hz and up unless your running another midbass driver or unless you want to miss out on alot of music.

just run them 80-3k and 3kup on the tweets and just play around with all of the settings to see what you like.

I was going to buy a midbass driver to play the 80hz - 300hz range.

the m6 are supposed to be good midbass i would run it 60-70 on up to whereever your tweet starts to sound stressed. i know cdt tweets dont like to play low so somewhre in the 3.5-4k region id start playing around with for the tweets
