hey guys i recently got a zune player and hooked it up to my aux in on my deck. Prob is its extremely quiet even with the deck turned all the way up and the zune all the way up. any idea? Deck is 1.2 yrs old panasonic cq c5410
First, make sure your patch cable (from the Zune to the deck) is pushed in all the way on both ends. Many of them will actually snap into place when they're fully inserted and if they're not you'll get a mono signal.
If that's not the issue then you may want to look into a small pre-amp since the MP3 player isn't designed to pump out that strong a signal and your deck may not be processing/amping it enough for your volume tastes.
u see i have seen this many times and theres to reasons here one its not a true aux its just a input and u can risk toasting ur zune from over working ur zunes amp or ruin your speakers from reverseing a feed thats doing what its not meant to. ur best bet here is just stop cause u will ruin something. some older auxs never even had a preamp on it.if its a true aux ursound will bump out like no tommorrow if it can't do that theres a serious issue and continuing use like that will take its toll eventually. ur best bet if its just stock system then get a transmitter if not then get a new headunit preferably a pioneer but do ur home work alot of pioneers cheeper headunits only have accesory or line in NOT a AUX so do your home work but yes be careful.
i reviewed the pdf manual and u say its a cq c5410 but the aux is only offered on the cq c5410 "U" model u might be plugged into the cd changer in line u think is aux in that case u have no aux, sorry but its the best i can do for you.
