In a standard dual LNB, can I connect one receiver to one of the connectors and another receiver to the other??? Of course I know I can connect them. The question is if I can do that and watch programming on both receivers or do I have to do something else to make this work. Thanks in advance.

The dual LNB receives 1 satellite signal with 2 outputs for 2 receivers...so each receiver will operate independently of the other, but receives only 1 satellite signal on each receiver..

I'm asking cause i tried to do that but the second receiver does not have any signal at all, so I can watch TV in only one receiver. Any ideas??

bad cable
bad connection
wrong keys
bad settings
bad port on LNB (least likely)
receiver needs reboot ( power off/on by rear switch)
etc..
