The cost for the speakers on ebay for these new items are aproximately $525 for the speakers(retails for 1000-1200) and the alpine amp is around $400(ratails for around $700). Has anyone bought from ebay at this kind of discount and been pleased with the quality. These prices sound too good to be true. Are they? |

What I'm really concerned about is whether the product is genuine Focal, not whether Focal will help me out if the speaker goes bad. |

Just watch out for those damn nigerian scammers. I hate them. |

People buy 99 cent items 25 times get their 25 feedback ratings and then throw up a high priced item. If you find one of these accounts it will say that you are protected on a sale over $300 but everything under $300 you get stuck paying. 3.) Also, only buy from sellers who are protected with paypal's protection policy up tp $2,000 guaranteed. When sellers don't have this it should be a red flag. It's easy for a seller to get this. 4.) Understand that brand names like Focal, JL and some others that are suppose to be sold exclusively at licensed dealers will not honor any type of warantee associated with the sale of the product. On the same note, a lot of warantees only take effect if their products are installed professionally. 5.) Finally a suggestion, check out http://stores.ebay.com/w-w-w-indoaudio-c-o-m_W0QQfcdZ2QQfromZR10QQftsZ2QQsaselZ1 5268997QQsofpZ0QQtZkm on ebay. Its a massive on line retailer. They themselves warrantee the products and are very easy to deal with. They are also safe to deal with outside of ebay if you want to save a little extra money. |
