I have Echostar 1.2 on 148. I am not getting Sahara (Ch. 624) Zee Guj (Channel 623) and KTv (channel 667).Tried blind scan several times but no luck. Any idea what is wrong
It is Viewsat Ultra. Using latest bin released on Apr 7th. No I am not in a high rise. It was set up for 148 since I do not have line of sight for 61.5. No problem with the rest of the channels on this satellite
If you are in Mississauga, you would have great difficulty with 148W. Try individual TP scan. I have often had some missing TPs after a blind scan of 61.5, and a TP scan nearly always brings the truants in. Ideally, of course, you should aim for 62.5W
I find it "improbable"to get echo 1/2 from missisauga,first all the highrise buildings and overpases and other man made obstructions,combined with the location and horizon issues.Last I checked it is below horizon from locations farther west than missisauga.Can you confirm it's echo 1/2 your hitting from a ground location.

Try only a TP Scan. (tp25) Freq.12574 (Pol V) SR 20,000. The Channels that you are looking for, are all on this TP.you didn't say anything about Zee Punjabi, Channel 622, are you getting this Channel?
Yes I am in Mississauga, Canada. I have had no prblems with Satellite 148 (Echo 1.2) all these years. All other channels on this satellite are working fine
