Yea an old school kicker amp eh? Im looking into getting this for my 2 Type R's THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE TODAY, ARGH.. Anyways, let me know what you think, My Type R's are DVC-4Ohm, so my amp needs to be 1 ohm stable. Let me know what you think.. right now this amp looks to be the best, considering its price ^^
Does this amp require a 1/0 gauge power wire or ground wire, or both? If I have a 4 gauge Power/Ground wire from my old ZX450.2 amp will this do, or is it critical that I replace these?
I would suggest it. But if you are just worried about running new wire, you are risking messing something else up. I just think one wire isn't worth risking your more expensive equipment.
Yea, I see what your saying. I have a 1994 Acura Legend LS, do you think I will need a different alt with this amp? If so, Im just gonna get a smaller one, I dont wanna f**k with that..
you probably will need a bigger alt., especially if running either a 2 or 4 channel amp for speakers. but what size is the alt. now, if big enough you could get away with getting a better battery and doing the big 3.
I dont have any other amps in the car for speakers or anything, just the subs, its stock alt, i have no clue what it is and i dont want to get a new battery, if its too risky, ill just get a smaller amp. And whats the big 3? This will be my only amp in the car and its just a Class D mono amp. Let me know what u think
