Silver Member Username: SkiesCourtenay, British Colu... Canada Post Number: 493 Registered: Aug-05 | I was just looking at their subs, and WOW, look at those prices! After putting in the t/s parameters for a MAW-12 into WinISD, it comes out 2-3 dB higher than a 10" TC-1000, both given same power(750w) and sealed enclosure(.8 cuft). And for less than half the price! Are they new? Reliability? What kind of SQ can I expect from one of these? From the 12" Test Session: http://www.realmofexcursion.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14949 Doesn't look too good there though :S Anyways, any personal experiences with them? |

Silver Member Username: SkiesCourtenay, British Colu... Canada Post Number: 501 Registered: Aug-05 | WinISD is a speaker program of sorts... It's somewhat old, and is outdated as far as new speakers. But you can add your own speakers, just get the t/s parameters from manufacturer website or w/e. You analyze basically the output in dB, you can change box size, ported, sealed, power. Fun tool to use to analyze setups. Wow, and still no problems since then? haha nice... how much power are you giving it? |
Bronze Member Username: Lil_jCantonUS Post Number: 22 Registered: Feb-07 | on my PG amp (xs250)about 400Wrms and it loved it but my PG amp died back up amp is a VR3 crap amp at 8ohms it's like 70Wrms but still loud the sub has good SQ in a sealed box .75cu.ft/1cu.ft/2cu.ft but like no SPL but in a ported box like 2cu.ft@32/33hz it still has good SQ but ****good SPL so ported FTW |
