My infinity amp puts out 1300wrms at 2 ohms. Then I decided to wire one of the subs by itself and it put out a 4ohm load which my amp puts out 854 at 4ohms. My single sub alone sounded better in both SPL and SQ than when there were 2. WTF..?? |

The way you have it, twice as much current has to flow through the wires between the amp and the double connection. The wire may not be heavy enough gauge. |
