How do i hook a remote wire to a switch?

Silver Member Username: Nd4spd18Southeast PA Post Number: 840 Registered: Jul-06 | Yeah that pic sucks, but it looks like the switch has 3 terminals? If so, do this: Turn the switch on. Use a DMM set to check continuity (the setting where it beeps when you touch the probes together), and probe the terminals. When the meter beeps, turn the switch off and it should stop. You have found the terminals you want to use, now mark them. Then, connect the amp's remote wire to one of the terminals, and connect the other one to your accessory power wire. |

Silver Member Username: DkchillinVermont Post Number: 406 Registered: Mar-05 | That third terminal is probably for a small led on the top of the switch. If you wire it to a ground, it'll light up when it's on. |
