Fiberglass vs. 3/4 MDF

I plan on having a custom fiberglass enclosure made for my Dual RE SX12 setup. But I wanted to know if there would be a difference between a 3/4 mdf enclosure and a fiberglass enclosure, both tuned to 33hz.

wouldnt a fiberglass box be sealed? i think the only way to port it would be to aeroport it.
