Waste of time? You must have done something wrong. I loaded 297, scanned the sats, and all channels are back and working great. If you think it's a waste of time, then why don't YOU write a bin instead of complaining.
I don't mean anyone disrespect, but it gets old really fast when people start to whine and complain about something they are getting for free. If you paid, say $5-10 for each bin that came out, it would still be worth it, because we are each saving HUNDREDS, perhaps thousands of dollars in TV costs. But these bins are released at NO cost to us. So be grateful, very grateful as I am.
I'd like to see you write a better bin than just complaining. If you are getting something for free, it's better to keep quiet than whine about it. And if it is a nuisance and "waste of time" to you, then there's one last thing to do, get a subscription to whatever TV service is in your area.
i paid for my DVB card and for a Pansat - i paid for that.
Complaining about the bins may sound ungrateful, but the squeaky wheel gets the grease. If nobody cared 2 improve anything than no one would bother trying.
