Im sure there is an explanation, but wouldnt adding angles to the corner of the outer port wall and not the inner change freq.?
The distance from end to end of the red line is less than the distance from end to end of the blue line. Am I missing something or should the inner port wall have an angle too?
Ive seen alot of these done and this ? has always left me wondering.
dont tell canaan what the hell he's doing, are you all dumb as sh!t? he knows what he's and why he's doing it, so stfu. looks like another happy customer is in your future man haha
yea truthfully i dont get the angle in the port thing...how you would measure it that is. how does it work marshall. also did you use sketchup for that design? if so how do u get the circles to drop into holes, i mean i know how but every time i try, it dont work and its pissin me off.. nice design btw marshall...be sure to keep us updated!
for the corner of ports.... take the port with... say 4 inches.... now where you get to the bend the port comes to a point at the turn... start at the point and measure towards the corner of the box. when you reach 4 inches thats how far the corner piece should take up. that probably wasnt the greatest explaination. i suck at e-xplaining lol.
and as for the circle drop.... make circle, push it in, then cut it.
I wasnt tryin to dog you Canaan, I just wasnt sure and figured youd be the one to ask. I bet you build some good shyt.
Ne way, Im happy to have finally figured this out. It will help greatly with my next install because my trunk has raised sides that are rounded and this will allow me to set the box a few inchs back(towards the front).
