Has anyone on here painted their box instead of carpeting it? Pics?

What type of paint do you use? Anything else I should be aware of when doing this?

I am thinking about painting my box gray, since my truck's interior is gray. The reason for all the questions is because I haven't painted anything before.

I dont remember what paint I used. I think it was Black semi-gloss. It was something I had just laying around in the garage. Not sure of the brand.

No it wasnt spray paint. It was a mess doing the port. I dont have a paint gun or anything so I had to put my whole arm in. Used a roller for the most part then, to get all the little areas I used a brush.

What kind of finish are you going for?
For a smooth shiny finish, use primer on the box first. let dry completly, sand, then apply 2-3 coats of finish, sanding inbetween coats. Bondo all screw heads first.
For a glass like finnish. Apply resen on the box, and sand betwen 4-5 coats. Prime, wet sand fill voids, prime wet sand, finish with 2-3 coats of spaypaint, wet sanding inbetween.
