Ok guys I got some questions and hopefully would be answered. Im having a Sonicview 1000sv and running on BEV 82 and 91. The seller will not provide any guidance so being a newbie im confused at some things. Right now I have all channels and its working fine and programmed.
Im just wondering when am I suppose to use those latest Bin files? What is the difference between a bin file and a manual key? When exactly are these two used?
Also if there is anyway I would be able to get 148 on my 82 91 dish?

A bin file is normally written when something changes in the programing, such as a new map call or new routine.

Entering keys manually is only necesary if the bin file you are using is not autorolling the keys.

Dealers will not program these boxes because it's illegal. It is legal for them to sell you an unmodified box, but illegal for them to modify it for you...

Also on my Menu-Installation-Dish Settings it shows me a large number of satellites. But whenever I select any of them to get its channels they dont appear at all. The only channels I can view is 82 and 91. How come so many satellites are showing especially when I dont have any dish for them? And if it does shows why the channels dont work? Im really despo here to get some Indian channels and any help to obtain any channels from anywhere would be really helpful. Thanks

Those are the sats that are in the default list. That's all.

Indian channels are on sat 61.5
