Pansat 3500 install help

sarj patel New member Username: Sp1985 Post Number: 1 Registered: Feb-07	Posted on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 - 01:55 GMT im a total new comer to FTA. i dont even know how the thing works. i just got my pansat , i loaded the boot b80 file the new bin, but no i cant figure out how to get channels. i want to get indian channels , which are on i believe but could be wrong echo 7 , which is 119west. i cant even tell if im getting a signal from the sat. cause the level says 70%, but the quality is 0% . so what do i do?

(2) on the 3500 remote press the green button twice. there is a signal meter make sure u turn ur volume down. u can here it outside. it is loud. once u find the sat u want lock dish down. u can do this with the switch at this time or without. i do it with. but make sure u turn power off on reciever and unplug it before u connect or dis-connect any sats. u will burn ur switch. i set all my switch settings first then disable the ones i'm not blind scanning so i do get double channles "it's really ur prefirance the way u want to do it" or go to http://www.l@ngsat.com/tracker/america.html change @ to y i dont know where ur located so go here for headings. plus i dont know what type of dish,lnb settings u have. so assuming that you have a basic setup i will try to help. (3)find the latest bin here bin 312 http://www*future-fta.info/Forums/showthread.php?p=333664#post333664 make sure u back up the bin in ur reciever first. to do this u hit menu on the remote then hit sd memory. then hit the file codebackup. press the red button on the remote hit yes, name the backup then let it backup. (4) after that put ur sd card that into a reader and copy the latest bin to the code backup file. then go back to ur reciever and press menu on the remote. then hit sd memory then code backup. instaed of the one u backed up highlite the latest bin. instead of hitting the red button this time hit ok. confirm that u want to restore data hit ok then let bin load. reciever will take a few minutes just be patient. (5)after reciever reboots go the menu then parentel control then second pin enter 0000 scrow down to set default key. " this is after u have ur sats tweaked in " then exit scan the birds u want. make sure u set ur DISEqC switch in the reciever to the proper bird u want. 119, 110, 82 i dont know what ur setup is but this is the average way to do a 3500. u can also load a channle list once u get the birds u want thats just a quick way. if u need more detial let me know...... may be a little out of order but it's early and i'm st0ned. good luck...... look around for lk he will help ya' out also first he will tell u to read till ur eyes bleed. but he'll help out also. right LK ?
