I have a Sony 23" KVL-23HR1 LCD flat panel that will turn on and off every 10 seconds or so, after warmin g up for a few minutes. The TV is 2 years old and has been fine. Could the external power supply brick be failing??
David, Sony RPTV turning on and off in just seconds. Went through the whole check list called Sony (very nice and helpful) nothing. Now tried local guy...jerk... and haven't figured it out still! Oh Please tell me you figured out what it was! I have the same problem. Just bought a new lamp.. going to try that today but have a feeling it's not the problem. WHat did you find out? Help Please!!! I HAD A HITACHI THAT DID THE SAME THING A FEW YEARS AGO. I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS BUT I THINK IT HAD TO DO WITH HOW IT WAS SET UP. THE GUY CAME CHANGED SOMETHING WITH THE REMOTE AND PROBLEM SOLVED.
