I understand that a 720p signal upconverted to 1080p will not look as good as a true 1080p signal, but will a 1080i signal (like a broadcasted one from an antenna) displayed progressively look exactly like a true 1080p signal. |

It's a little different for film shot in 24fps, but a live 1080i HD broadcast is deinterlaced very nicely to true 1080P by your specific model.
