all morning i couldnt get a lock on any satellite. we changed our dish to another location on the roof and made sure it was level. after some tuning of the dish i finally locked onto 110 satellite.. the only problem is it shows 110 through the 119 LNB.. in other words, when i go to antenna setup and go to set up 119, it shows 110 in the upper right hand corner.. this means my 119 LNB is locked onto 110 right? if so, does this mean i need to turn my dish 9 degrees to the west or east??? im excited that it actually works but want to get the other sat!!

yes u need to very slightly move the dish...U should be using the sat calculators, but since U are so close, U will get them both the 110-119 by a VERY slight turn.

Don't forget to input the antenna/LNB/dish settings into your receiver after U have it aligned

LNB type-Dish pro
freq-11250
119- port/disque #1...110- #2
etc

i also forgot to mention that if i try to set up sat 119 i get a 75 quality reading that blinks but wont lock on.. what is this LNB picking up if 119 is already locked by 110???

had the same problem all weekend and finally figured it out. My new viewsat extreme, as seconded by others, is really finnicky with switches/disecs in setup. What levels it shows in installation setup for sats isn't necessarily correct if swirches/disecs are involved. remove 1 coax from switch and concentrate on aligning dish to sat that is still hooked. Remove 119 and setup 110. Remove 110 coax and setup 119. You will notice right away a difference in levels. Also. others are saying that 119 tp freq should be 12239 to get signal..
