Speaker wiring

Scott Redinger New member Username: Scott_redinger Erie, PA USA Post Number: 2 Registered: Feb-07	Posted on Monday, February 12, 2007 - 02:44 GMT I am not too experienced with running speaker wires so when I ran them in the bacement ceiling, I ran them right next to an existing electrical line because it was a convenient location. I don't believe the wire is shielded (typical 16 gage Radio Shack wire). Will this cause interference? Should I relocate the wires further from the electric line?
