New member Username: Georgiaboy1989Post Number: 6 Registered: Feb-07 | I always read about Ohms and stuff and I have no idea what these things are. Also I have two 12" Audiobahun Falming Q's that say they are 1100rms each 1)is this an accurate rating 2)what would be a good amp to power them without breaking the bank [cause the Lanzer amp I have now blows] 3)how should I wire them because now I have my amp bridged and the wires going to one and then to the next one (see pic. below)4)the subs have speaker wire connectors on both sides and now i have it wired to the + of one side and the - of the other side and then i have a peace of wire connecting the other two(see pic.)
all help is appreciated |

Silver Member Username: Sinful_systems70Post Number: 291 Registered: Nov-06 | Another word that might be helpful in a search is "Impedance". Just think this might help. The ohm (symbol: U) is the SI unit of electrical impedance or, in the direct current case, electrical resistance, named after Georg Ohm. Just trying to help. |

Silver Member Username: Rob932Post Number: 121 Registered: Feb-05 | impedance is a circuits total resistance, in a circuit that isn't purely resistive
Silver Member Username: Rob932Post Number: 122 Registered: Feb-05 | i dont think that really made since but an ohm is a measure of resistance
