Anyone watch these fights tonight?? j/w cuz the main event was one of my favorite fighters, Rashad Evans, and some dude got KNOCKED THE FU<K OUT by him...good old head kick in the second round and man this dude was absolutely unconcious...
...can't wait for the PPV february 3rd...great fight card; silva defending the middleweight title, st. pierre defending the welterweight title, Rampage Jackson making his debut...gonna be crazy!!!
tito isnt anything special, ull see a good fight when liddell fights rampage again. Rampage kicked his az$ the first time but now they are both better then they use to be. So itll be a great fight. I dont know if they have contracts sigend yet for that fight but theyll def be one. And any fight cro cop is in will be a sick fight too.
yeah February 3rd man...Cro cop is fighting Eddie Sanchez (cro cop ftw)...Q Jackson is fighting some random dude who he's gonna wail...
...i was just looking at the fight card though and i'm confused...The two ultimate fighter winners are supposed to be fighting for their respective weight titles, Travis Lutter is on the card against Anderson Silva...but the other guy (i'm drawing a blank on his name) isn't on the card to fight Georges St. Pierre.
yeah st. pierre is gonna be tough to beat for anyone...Matt's really well rounded so i don't think it'd be a slaughter...but St. Pierre is just a little better at everything. My guess would be a 50-45 unanimous decision.
im saying knock out or submission.. I cant possibly see serra holding himself against st pierre or even Hughes... Do u know if they rescheduled that fight yet or anything.
nah i have no idea...i can't imagine serra being submitted though, he's up there with the best of em' in his jujitsu...knockout is a definite possibility tho.
pit bull the guy quinton is fighting originally defeated quinton in his first fight. I was just reading one of ur posts that said he was a random guy. Hes actually not that random but he will get defeated by rampage, rampage has progressed so much since that fight its not even funny.
yeah that was kinda pathetic to watch...just not fair, royce is old school, nowadays every fighter has to be SOOOO versatile to rise to the top, at his age now he can't compete with a beast like Hughes in his prime.
Matt Hughes was exposed by GSP in my opinion though. Hughes has SICK wrestling, great ground strikes, and under-rated jujitsu...but his stand up is SAD dude. He can't take down GSP, therefore, he can't beat GSP...i sincerely hope he works his way back up the ranks and gets to fight GSP again so his exposure can be confirmed.
B.J. Penn was whoopin his @ss too untill Penn got gassed, Penn took the fight on short notice and was not in good shape...plus he's just built to fight at 155 instead of 170 anyway.
man i watched UFC countdown tonight and saw Marvin Eastman the guy whose fighting rampage...i was really impressed i cannot wait to see that fight now; he looks like hes got quick hands, crisp muay thai, and good wrestling i dont think he's gonna be a pushover.
watched UFC PPV tonight...what a fu<king joke...Travis Lutter didn't make 185 pounds that fu<ckin loser. And then in their non title fight, he gets silva on the ground with full mount...and mr. jujitsu specialist gets SUBMITTED by mr. muay thai...HAHAHAHA well that's the last we'll be seeing of Travis Lutter.
well Georges St. Pierre isn't "French" per se...he's french canadian from quebec.
Mirko Cro Cop won his fight but wasn't that impressive, his stance and movement looked like that of a kickboxer not a mixed martial artist. Can't wait to see him fight a real Heavyweight next time instead of an amateur, should be interesting...on the bright side, that dudes punches and kicks are just insane.
