Friday, February 02, 2007 - 21:46 GMT IVE GOT A 760 WATT PIONEER AMP.ITS A 2 CH AMP,AND ITS SUSPOSED TO BE BRIDGEABLE,BUT WHEN I BRIDGE IT IT KICKS INTO PROTECTION.WHY?

Friday, February 02, 2007 - 22:20 GMT You can only run 4 ohms in mono. if you try 2 or 1, the amp will shut down.

Friday, February 02, 2007 - 22:29 GMT ok,so if ive got 2 12" audio bahns 750 watt max,and there 4ohm then bridging them drops it to 2ohms correct?if so then how do i wire my subs to 8ohms?

Friday, February 02, 2007 - 22:37 GMT i used to have the same amp if were talking about the pioneer gm-5002...or something like that 760max, right? i sold it to my friend and he had it bridged and it worked fine.
