mike Silver Member Username: Mike11202 Sewell, NJ US Post Number: 117 Registered: Nov-06	Posted on Sunday, January 21, 2007 - 15:45 GMT I got a sealed box to get the best sound quality from the sub Got the specs from JBL: Fs:31.83 Vas:44.75 Qes: .55, Qms:6.68, Qts: .51 This speaker would do well in a sealed enclosure of about .5 ft3 (net volume). It would give you an f3 of about 55 Hz, but the cabin gain(the acoustic increase)should extend the bass down to about 25 Hz or so. Stuff the box with a pound or so of polyester fill.

Twp this weekend and no the bass isnt trapped in the trunk it sounds fine with the seats up.. if i want i can just fold the seats down to hear more bass
