alright my amp rockford fosgate 800a2 bridged does 928rms and the gains are set to the proper voltage I know that the sub is wired at 4 ohms and its giving off a burning smell through the port but it still hits also when its not playing I push on the cone slightly but it gives a lil scartching noise from debree or something what's up is it done or what
figured and I wonder why the gains and everything were set perfect, oh well I'm getting new subs anyways.. I think I might try 2 15havocs the new ones instead of the dmxs less power and still get hella loud plus I wanna review on the new design
hook a dmm up to it while its NOT playing and check what it reads for ohms. if its not what its suposed to be then it's blown, if it reads perfect, something else mechanically has failed.
Hey spl where do you connect the positive and negative on the ones on the left or right? I connected them on the right or does it even matter? i bought mine with no manual, thanks
Sorry to get off topic here. Canaan, have you ever blown up a Pyramid royal red sub yet? I got 4 that will need a grave if I can't dump them first. 4 ohm, 500w rms.
lol paul, i saw the same kind of those but they was wanna be solo-barics at etronics.com i was thinkin bout gettin 2 royal squares just to blow lol there like 29 or 39 a piece for the square 12's so funny
Haha. I gave Logan an idea of a "flaming" sub but he didn't follow through. Pour some lighter fluid on the cone, light, and bump!! A flaming bumping sub!
spl email fi audio and get ask them if they can fix that sub with parts from the Q. ask them how much they would charge. it might be cheaper than buying a new sub.
yeah i know chad i was going to do that prob still will but im looking at fi's new bls they look nice, i might wanna experiment 2 15's im so undecided on my next setup
