Just save up to get a 1000/1 that definitely one of the top amps for those subs because it was MADE to power those subs. Otherwise, scour ebay for an amp that does around 1500 wrms @ 1 ohm. This is about the cheapest amp you can get that is decent and does rated power: http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-CLARION-DPX11500-MONO-POWER-AMPLIFIER_W0QQitemZ250 071960968QQihZ015QQcategoryZ18797QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem |

Silver Member Username: QbenjaminFlorida Post Number: 210 Registered: Nov-06 | Those are some good subs, but they are a wiring nightmare!!! Dual down to 3 ohms....? If I were you, I would jsut save up the extra $200 and get the JL 1000/1 like they have told you. |

You could get yourself an Orion HCCA-D2400 on Ebay within your price range. 1200 RMS @ 1 ohm should be fine with good amount of headroom. - Alex |

The CEA rating on there website says that is puts out 1500 WRMS @ 2ohms 14.4v. Look for yourself: http://www.clarion.com/us/en/products/2007/audio/amplifiers/DPX11500/us-en-produ ct-pf_1165294762631.html I don't know how the CEA can get away with lying like that. |
