Before I ask the question, let me say this, I know what is meant by factory setting. Now with my question. Is there any receiver or software that you can override
and save like new added satellites and TPs?
When a person does a factory setting, why do
the Keys & Bins remain, but not the added
satellites or TPs?

So when I add new Satellites and TPs,
is there any way to save them , when I do a Factory Setting? Also when you do a Factory
Setting I thought that everything that was not set at the factory was deleted.

Yes you can on most receivers.

I have a pansat 3500 and a viewsat. With both I can use the same loaders that are used for loading bin files to save sat info and channel info. In fact I use A free program called channel master to edit channels on both receivers.

You can find how to on most all receivers on the sites on LK's great list or reputable sites here.

If you will let us know your receiver we can point you to a how to.

hope that helps

Kavin , there is NO secret way to save the sats and TPs once U do the factory default unless U use Channel Master program and create your own channel list and reinput that CM file after the factory reset...usually most sats (not all) are included in the factory settings...

Jay... U cannot use the same LOADER for a Viewsat and a pansat 3500!...Loader is used to upload bins..U can use CHANNELMASTER to edit, add, delete channels etc for both VS and Pansat..

hey LK you smart a** I said LOADERS <------look a s plural meaning more than one. I never said use the same loader for both.
all you did was echo my answers with yours.

now I am still wondering why are you doing a factory reset so often?

Jay - Not taking anyones side on this one but look at your post

"With both I can use the same loaders"

I had to read it a couple of times to try to understand what it was you were saying, so I can see how someone would interpret it the way LK did. No harm - No faul... But it could be interpreted that way...

Thanks I can see that as well. But you know what bugs me is why did LK even point that out? This all goes back to his "only I the GREAT LK can answer questions here" frame of mind. He bashed me on a misunderstanding on his part as the reader then echoed my answers.

Funny Funny Funny

Jay...chill...many people would interpret what U wrote that same way that it APPEARS!...maybe if U wrote more clearly, I wouldn't have to post...I don't want newbies trying to load BOTH their Pansats and Viewsat with loader 2.0!...use some common sense pal!...I believe my post was VERY clear to Kavin, unlike your mumble jumble..

If you want to have a discussion with me email me don't make all these nice people have to read it here. You are hijacking a thread to bash me once again.
so to the poster of this thread I am sorry he chose to bash me on your thread.

Jay...go back to Okie...and quit being a wus about everything!...now go cry to the admins here!..Kavin asked a question, U gave a BS mumble jumble answer which implied/stated to newbies that U could use the same loader for VS and Panbsat...I simply clarified the subject and answered Kavin in simple trems!...

If U don't like it...too Fukc*ing bad!...get OFF my back azzhole!...go cry to your momma!...grow up punk!
