Guys,

Chancysand is the person who edits Pansat 2500 bins so they can work in Fortec STAR Lifetime Ultra receivers. Today, I downloaded bin 287T from a different website because DssWorld was busy. Bin loading was successful and all channels are working fine, EPG is fine, etc. But, I noticed something very strange. I went to MENU and then to SYSTEM INFORMATION and looked at the bottom of the pop-up. Usually, it's says "Future-FTA.info", but this time I saw "DssCommunity". My question is "Is Chancysand working with DssCommunity"?

I've uploaded that file to share and here's the download link to that file: [link removed]

This bin is for Fortec STAR Lifetime Ultra receivers only! If you see the same thing, please post it here by saying YES or NO.

Try this link: [link removed] , it's faster than the above link and you don't have to wait for Loading.

Chancysand is a person who is credited with removing the clone killer portion of the BINs put out by BL for the real Pansat. There is nothing to stop anybody from calling himself "Chancysand" at any site - as long as the name is not already in use, they would allow it.
LK usually says he is a buddy of Chancysand and perhaps he posts at his site as well. There is usually a post by Chancysand on "Curious Contraptions" site and it is my understanding that the real Chancysand posts there as well.
I do not know him, except to say that I respect his work and abilities.

AV: I get my BINs from
Future-Fta.info
dssrookie.com
dssevolution.com
totalfta.com
or any other reputable site I can go to quickly.

Well, if you have Fortec Lifetime Ultra, here's the link [link removed] to try that file.

AV: I understand from some people that dsscommunity*com is a reputable site. I do not often go there, because of the interface, and because the name is prohibited in ecaustics, whereas others are not.
Frankly, the problem is: too many FTA related sites. Every other day there is one more added. So I go where I get in often and fast. Lately I have stopped going into new sites, not because they are bad, but because I cannot cope.

But, you trust Hostclip.com, don't you. You post file links from there. That link is a hostclip link not dsscomminity link.

AV: This discussion is not going anywhere. You wanted to know who Chancysand and where he posts and I have informed you about it to the best of my knowledge.

AV...DssCommunity has been around MANY years and formed MANY relationships with coders, peeps and well known DSS people over the years!...Many of them, including BL, Chancy, Sager, Leaker, etc and others will provide FIRST releases to the site, and also stop and chat on ocassion..

Forget everything,

Just tell me is that bin working for you guys. I know bin 287T is working, but download it from the link I've posted above and tell me if it's working for you people or not and you see DssCommunity in that System Information pop-up. Please answer it seriously and I'll end this thread.
