King - I may be mistaking but look at this C/P from his post:
"RECEIVER: 3500SD DISH 1: 119/110, TWIN LNB: DISHPRO PLUS DISH 2: 61.5, LNB: DISHPRO DiSEq: 4 X 1
Right now, cables from 119 LNB to DiSEq 1, 110 LNB to DiSEq 2, 61.5 LNB to DiSEq 3" ----------------------------------
SAMDO:
First - The problem I see here is that you are using a DishProPlus LNB (you will need a DN Receiver connected to this at all times in order to supply power to this LNB)
Second - Because this is a DishProPlus this mean that you do not use a DISECQ switch. the DishProPlus LNB has a built in Switch and an input for a third sat/lnb. You will have two outlets/outputs and one input on the fat head DishProPlus - From the two outlets/outputs you will run one cable directly into your STB and the other will have to go to your DN receiver (which will provide the power supply for the LNB).
The third connection in this LNB is for an additional sat input. What this means is that you will connect your 61.5 LNB into this (as mentioned it has an internal switch) and you will configuer DISEcQ as stated by King above:
Last but not least - These Dish Pro Plus LNB are not FTA friendly and while the power supply to the LNB is the biggest problem. Just adding any DN receiver will not work either. These were designed to be used with the newer models. A 311 or 322 will not do the job.
I agree PRFRMNJ Twin DP may not be compatible with some receivers
But if it is a voltage problem neither LNB will power up
Therefore first best solution is to look for different LNB option like I was saying above he's got nothing to loose
Twin DP has its own circuit switch similar to SW34 and similar to SW21 will work on some Receivers and not others. I didn't start log to see which one works and which won't work.
Second best option is to use the Twin DP as a single LNB and strap a second to DISEqC with cleaver alignment
Third option is to miss with its voltage power supply without knowing proper requirement
Forth trade it for a regular DN500 Twin LNB
If necessary I'll start my research to modify this Twin DP
DPP setup...as already stated by PRFRMNJ, U need to keep BOTH receivers ON to power the Dish Pro Plus (DPP) LNB..and input correct antenna/dish settings in receiver...FTA receiver type doesn't matter...and I believe U can sub another FTA for the DN Legacy receiver in diagram (but not 100% sure)..and 3rd sat/LNB can be any one U want (NOT 148 necesarily)..
119-#1, 110-#2, #3-other sat LNB type -Dish pro freq-11250 etc..
