Hi guys, I am trying to hookup 4 LNBs (110, 119, 91 and 82) on one elliptical dish. I am using the Y bracket that can hnadle 4 LNBs. I tried to scan only for 110 alone, however am not able to get a decent signal. I get 85 for signal and 75 for quality. Also when I scan for 110 I think I am getting channels for 91. Any suggestions what I should do. Which satellite should I scan for first and what steps should I follow. Also if you know the azimuth, tilt and elevation I need (in toronto) so that I can catch all these, please let me know. Is it also possible to add the LNB for 105 in between the 110 and 91 LNB. My other concern is that should the LNB for 119 be little bend to the left (when looking from behid the dish). Thanks in advance. Keith
U need a 33 inch dish at least!...most people use 2 dishes 20x24 elliptical dishes and 2 DP Twins for those 4 sats and then run cables into a disque switch and input the 4 sats info into your receiver settings..
BTW...105 is a linear LNB..not circular like the 82-91-110-119..and all reptable sites have dish pointing calculators for U to use...I suggest U use those sites (reputable sites thread here) and do a whole LOT of READING now!
Sat 129w echo5 has the same chan's/programing as 105w but in circular so you can use a circular lnb and standard dish,or just add the lnb to the existing dish.Just add to the left side of the 119[looking from front of the reflector] lnb and raise it up about 2 inhes and turn at bit towards the centre of the dish.
KC Just like LK said Best way get 2 seperate dish each dish with 2 LNB or Twin LNB One dish for 82/91 Another for 110/119
If you like to make life complicated and looking for new challenge and expect the unexpected and play with alignment and skew then get a 35" dish and look at this picture TARAA
Thanks guys for your suggestions. I was told buy the seller that I can get all of channels with an elliptical dish. Anyways I will buy an 18" dish for the BEV channels.
