Ok my pops was giving a sony flat trinitron monitor tv with one video output. there are no speakers built in. Is there a way to put sound onto the tv? Are there any adapters to achieve this situtation?
You could sit a boom box on top (kidding). If there is no audio output(s) then you're stuck. You would need to get a separate TV tuner for for sound. If there is an audio output(s) you'll need an amp or receiver to deliver the sound to speakers - or a powered speaker(s) (inbuilt amplifier).
