i have 2 receiver ad one dn500 sat and i have 2 disq. each lnb have 2 output. my problem is that when watching Tv when two recvr on the other recvr tend to freeze then would get tp update then occasonal loose decrease signal. Please help. someone suggest use SW21 switch for one receiver. I have and old aspen eagle switch DTV3x4 would this work????
max..again explain your hardware...2 variations of "dish 500" (DP TWIN or 2 dual Legacy LNB's)...this time be EXPLICIT!...lets not play guessing games all day..post in DETAIL, cause THEY MATTER!
DP switches are ONLY for DP LNB's,not Legacy!..SW switches are inteneded for legacy DN receivers and are NOT FTA friendly unless VS or CS..disque switches are most FTA friendly...so use of any of these 3 switches is dependent on receiver type, LNB type, # of LNB's, and # of receivers..
BTW. that switch should work if LNB's are onnected correctly and your 22 khz settings are correct in receiver, based on the cables placement into switch..
If U have a DP twin dish 500, then NO switches are needed, just run 2 cables directly to the 2 receivers..if Dish 500 with 2 dual legacys, use 2 disque switches....
LK here what i have. 2 magnum 3300 recvr;1 pansat 3500s recvr; 2 disq; My dish is DP500 single output. I took the lnb and replace it with lnb with 2 output for 110 and 119. I modified the Y yoke to fit the lnb. I get the signal for the the two magnum 3300 receiver but when both recvr are on it tend to freeze then go to tp update or the signal would go low/no signal. could the DP500 lnb be use for FTA recvr if so coulld I split the the cable from the receiver end of disq to be able to hook up to 2 diffrent recvr and watch 2 different show??? Or would the used of multi switch necessary ( aspen eagle DTV3x4 ideal to prevent signal interruption.
No such thing as DP500 single output dish..write clearly and know what u are saying...then maybe U could get some help...there is a DP Twin Dish 500 that has 2 outputs for 2 receivers and carries 2 signals on 1 cable with NO switches needed..
