I've just bought two subs and have no idea wat i need to get them working or wat to do wen i have the stuff i need, any help would be appreciated. Post Number: 283 Registered: Nov-06 | lol...dave i highly recomend that you get those subs professionaly installed but if you want to do it urself thats fine too just becareful well first you need an amplifier to push those subs...that really depends on what subs you got so you have to be a bit more specific.. after you purchase an amp...you will need an amp kit (which consists of wiring) also do you have decent head unit or are you going to be pushin those subs with your stock radio? and ofcourse you will need some type of enclosure for those subs that you got (you can either go with sealed or ported...sealed is mainly for just sound quality and ported box are made for spl and can get realy really loud - i would recomend ported but that really depends on u) once you purchase that...you may need to upgrade ur electrical system (again that depends on what you have...<---need more details on ur subs) thats pretty much it....and then u just have to run the wires and hook everything up good luck! |
