Ok...Beofre the bashing I did read and try several differant things before posting.
I have a 2500 clone using bin 284T, up unitl the other day was rolling perfectly...No problem there i enter the keys manually..Fine. Yesterday i cam ehome and my wife had left the box on and the message was bad or scrambled picture not waiting for picture.
Strange...I got the keys entered them, saved and it then did the waiting for picture thing....for ever. I checked the keys 4 times and yes there was no typo. I tried turning off the autoroll, turning it off at the back, unplugging it, taking the sat cable off and back in....
What else can i try? My dish is set up correctly. The on thing I did do was hit the "Set default key" what does that do?
Shut Off "set default key" and Emu OFF = autoroll OFF...which U want autoroll OFF now, cause DN is "morhing" (playing with) the keys..
Use the 286T bin (or keep 284T bin, but I wouldn't)...manually input changed keys yeaterday,,,and save and exit..then reboot the receiver OFF for 1 minute with rear switch..
One more quick question. To turn off the default code do I go into the same menu as where you turn the autroll options on/off. Is it the one that says keycode On/Off?
