You see for xmas im gonna get like 200 bux so I gotta decide if I should buy a reciever or a center channel speaker. A center channel does nothing for standard stereo sources. If you're going to listen to a lot of 5.1 sources (movies, or DVD-A or SACD) or force your amp to convert stereo into surround, then a center channel should be top priority. The center channel typically handles speech and vocals, so a good one makes a big difference for movies or lyrics from 5.1 music sources. |
