New member Username: PiperhPost Number: 1 Registered: Dec-06 | I recently purchased what I was told was an outstanding sound system for a home theater--a Bose Lifestyle 38. I am disappointed with the performance of the system, and plan to return it. It appears that people either really hate or really love Bose. Where can one go to get accurate information? I have been told that that the Acoutimass module is not a true subwoofer, and cannot compare with one. The surround sound is weak and not at all dramatic. Rear speakers put out little sound even though surround sound set at its highest setting. What I do not know, is if the system really is overpriced junk, or merely improperly installed. Can anyone help me? |

I was told (by a sales person) the XBR3 has a better processor, but from what I can make out from the specs, the only difference is color. That leaves me 6900 to 3500 for the rest of the system. |
