Any help would be greatly appreciated. If anyone is curious, here's what I'm about to do. This stock stereo system sounds great, it actually hits really hard but it is VERY lacking on the high end. I've researched and found that this is a symptom of this particular stock head unit on radio only, the CD player sounds fine. I'm going to remedy this by adding 2 tweeters to the rear deck by splicing the feed from the front left & right speakers. I've found the two leads (the Bose amp is mounted under the back deck and all leads are there, nice!) but I just need to figure out the polarity of the leads (+ & -). I've seen a bunch of other Altima owners speak of this problem so I figured I'd document it and post it with the final outcome cuz I can't find where anyone has tried to beef it up on the high end other than ripping it out and installing an aftermarket system which I'm not going to do... yet. |
