Which Plasma HD/TV is the best-bet for the least problems in the 42-56 size range?

I've also narrowed it down to the 46" versions of these sets. Could either of you give some reasons for your preference for Samsung? Thanks.

Actually I found another tv I might go with. Sony KDL-40XBR2. What do you think

The XBR is better than any of the others mentioned. If you go with the XBR3 it has a 18 month or 2 year warranty. The samsung and sony models you mentioned before are both good but I prefer sony. In any event Im sure you will be happy with any of the sets you are looking at.
