Although I have been around this form for 2 years, I never did sign up for an actual account until now, so here is my first thread. (haha). Just like the Subject says, those are my 3 choices that I have picked out, the Panasonic CQ-VD7003U, the Pioneer AVH-P7800DVD and the Alpine IVA-D310. Now as you noticed, yes I do want the 7" widescreen, as for I plan to install a game system into it, and I like the Touch Sensitive Screen. I really listen to all type of music, (Rock, Death Metal, Rap, R&B), and I really am aiming for some amazing sound quality. I will be hooking up Rockford Fosgate Amps and Speakers, since I have been with them fairly long time, and have loved there sound quality and performance. Now my question to you guys, is which of the following 3 Head-Units would be compatible with my list, and give me the best bang for my buck. I do have 8 years in this, but I know there are alot more people with more experience, and I love to know other's people opinion, even if I don't go along with what they say, most the time we find an agreement. Thanks for all who read all this, and hope to hear from you soon. =D! And thanks ahead of time for helping me!
Also, I noticed that the above head units only put out 2V, so if anyone founds anything with more, please let me know, as I am trying to look for at least a 3v =).
I may not have much experience but I know one thing, atleast alpine vs pioneer, take that panasonic out of the picture. I also hope you are familiar with the ebrake feature on these newer headunits which lock up or the screen becomes disabled when the car is in Drive or moving, so its a thing to look out for. Although you can bypass that feature but every Indash Tv/dvd is different. If you want higher preouts and more eq options with those indash tv's get an eq and a line driver. Hope that helps somewhat. Like I said I'm not to experienced with this part.
ok. Panasonic is out of the picture. Now its down to 2. or 3.. As I was just looking, the RAV DVD2, by Rockford Fosgate, but I havn't read up on it at all, so i'm not so sure it, just saw it around a few places. Yes, I know about the e-brake feature, and I will be wiring that approiately for my actions. =). Also, thanks for the information about the line driver and equalizer, I will be looking into that. Thanks for your help too =D
