I just bought the HK802Sk amp from MA audio and here are the specs on the amp:

500 watts RMS x 2 @ 4 Ohms Stereo
800 watt RMS x 2 @ 2 Ohms Stereo
1,400 watt RMS x 2 @ 1 Ohm Stereo
2,200 watts RMS x 2 @ 0.5 Ohm Stereo
4,400 watt RMS x 1 @ 1 Ohm Bridged mono

Now i am wondering if i should get the Dual 1 or Dual 2 Ohm Sub...It's going to be a BTL 15" ???

those specs look horribly overrated!

if you already got the amp then i guess your stuck. that amp looks like it puts out the most power brided mono at 1ohm so get the 2ohm sub and wire to one ohm

ya thats wat i was gonna do...i figured it was a a little overated but then i looked down at the 4400 watts RMS x 1 @ 1 ohm and i was jus gonna run it all at 1 ohm to the BTL....? do u think this will sound good mat??

im not to familiure with that amp so i have no idea what power it really puts out.

but if your definatly going to use that amp your going to have to wire it to 1ohm with a D2 BTL

if that amp puts out even close to that amount of power your going to need a good charging system like and HO alt and batteries. and lots of 1/0g wire

oh dude if you didnt get the amp dont. and dont use the cap.

sounds like your trying to put together a nice system so dont blow it with that amp.

look into a orion 2500d and wire it to .5ohm(2800-3000rms)

or a memphis 4k

and ask some other people for a good amp like that
