I had posted a while back thinking that my amp had gone out, but after some equipment swapping today I realized it was the sub that had fried. Not a big loss by any means, but sucks till I can replace it. I don't know what happened to it but it doesn't do anything when its hooked up. It's completely dead. I took it out of the box and tried the battery trick and hooked it to the home receiver and after no response I let my son use it as a trampoline. LOL.

When I replace it, it won't be the same model\brand. I'm leaning very hard towards the Pioneer Shallow Mount subs. My main reasoning is that I can put one of the 12's in there and it will take up less room than that 10" did.

It's going in a '00 S-10 standard cab. That's the only reason I'm thinking about it. Me and all of my friends are pretty big so I need to keep as much open room as possible.

the shallow pioneers are actually a very good sub... my boi has 2 12s in his S-10 and it stomped for being its size... also had some travel to it also.. :-)
