So i pretty much just got done building my first box, i think its pretty good considering that its my first... I will have pics up tomorrow because its dark. The specs are 2.03 cubic ft., tuning of 35 Hz, and 25 wide x 15 tall x 17.5 deep. Like i said i will have pics up tomorrow asap. Thanks to the people that gave me input.

I hope you like them, take it easy though because its my first lol. And i will clean up the wires as soon as I can.

Ok lol, its all the wood that I had and no its just spray paint for now because im poor and couldnt afford carpet or anything. But with the wood ive heard that you are supposed to use MDF? Whats the difference??

MDF=more dense, less flex. Plywood wont sound terrible tho. You should try facin the subs back and not up, should sound a bit louder and deeper, at least it does for me.

So have the subs fire back? or do you think it would sound good if i faced them towards the back seat??

try differnent box positions its really a personal preference/car thing.

and looks pretty good.

i agree on the mdf thing but i like the look of the wood grain on the box. different

Nice construction Josh. However, next time you make one, you may want to Paint the port while its apart. It will look "finnished". Also, If you use primer first, sand and then paint it, it will look smooth, with out the wood grain showing. unless you wanted the wood grain showing. And MDF is better for boxes, unless you use a quality ply like cabinet grade 3/4 birch or oak. but Very nice box for your first build. And as far as carpeting it, Ive been using fabric for mine. its cheap and original. But a nice paint job works well too.
