Bronze Member Username: HanzPost Number: 71 Registered: Oct-06 | ...and I hooked it up. Now it's not working at all. Do I have to go back outside and put it back as it was? Or is there a way I can get it to work inside the house?
Bronze Member Username: NalbouzPost Number: 76 Registered: Oct-05 | Yah , fixe it inside near to window, then remove the window and the wall. then let me know if it works, loooooooooooooooooooool
Silver Member Username: Minn_rockPost Number: 661 Registered: Aug-06 | just tell him to put down the crackpipe, and make some sense out of it..WTF..lol

First of all,I need the crackpipe! and the second one: you can try,if you have clear view behind the window (outside), then, 90%, you will get some signal... |

Silver Member Username: NikkPost Number: 594 Registered: Sep-06 | Why don't put inside also the sat???, maybe that will help with the signal.....LOL
Bronze Member Username: LetmeonPost Number: 81 Registered: Mar-06 | If your nuts were tightened properly, the dish would not move, even in windy weather !!!
Silver Member Username: NikkPost Number: 595 Registered: Sep-06 | Hey guys...we need Ryerson here........

Silver Member Username: Dude123Post Number: 538 Registered: Jul-06 | Ranjeet Take it in the basement it would work there perfect there... |
|
Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 5380 Registered: Jan-06 | I put my dish out when its windy...give it some fresh air for a change...then my dish is happy and works like a champ...he's my buddy, so I have to feed him kibbles and bits and give him some fresh air now and then..
Silver Member Username: Minn_rockPost Number: 666 Registered: Aug-06 | LOL.if i was him,i will lock it in my closet and you will get 110% of signal out of it..
Bronze Member Username: HanzPost Number: 76 Registered: Oct-06 | Haha! Even I know that it can't work in the basement, The One! That's the most absurd bit of advice I've ever received. I actually found out from some intelligent people that the higher I place my dish, the better signal I will receive. So I took my ladder and placed the dish high up on the chimney! What do you think? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v129/kowarrior/DishRoof.jpg |

Silver Member Username: GrimreeperPost Number: 242 Registered: Feb-06 | were the hell is the ducktape to hold it in place??????
Bronze Member Username: HanzPost Number: 78 Registered: Oct-06 | I just used scotch tape. No biggie!
Silver Member Username: Dude123Post Number: 541 Registered: Jul-06 | well how is Santa gonna go in now? so just bring it down the chimney and then turn the fire on for the fire place and you will get all the hot channels...(i.e. P.orn)
Bronze Member Username: Culon61Post Number: 26 Registered: Jul-06 | The signal won't go through glass window. But it will get throught stucco walls, but not as strong. But it works. I tried it.
Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 5420 Registered: Jan-06 | yes it will go thru glass..weaker signal, but will work...it will NOT go thru stucco, its not transparent!
Bronze Member Username: TapemanPost Number: 34 Registered: Oct-06 | Hey Kids ... Grow up This Forum is for people asking for help Show that you are a friendly user I hate to see someone making fun for important questions. The reason you are not getting any channels I assume is you need to do blind scan But because it is kind of dark inside you may want to turn on the light prior to blind scan then you can turn off your lights. Can you tell me which room of your house do you have your setup Sorry guys I couldn't help it!!! |

Bronze Member Username: HanzPost Number: 84 Registered: Oct-06 | My Pansat has been getting a weak signal lately. Even though there's nothing obstructing the dish. I put it up really high, there shouldn't be any problems. Strange! |
|
Silver Member Username: Dude123Post Number: 572 Registered: Jul-06 | ya .... the wind is blocking alll the signals....
Silver Member Username: Minn_rockPost Number: 683 Registered: Aug-06 | Hey Ranjeet Bins don't put up there man, the birds gona sh1t on your LNB and you gona lost signal, keep it inside..lol
Bronze Member Username: NalbouzPost Number: 78 Registered: Oct-05 | and put your TV outside lOOOOOOOOOOL
Bronze Member Username: NalbouzPost Number: 79 Registered: Oct-05 | coz if the bird does it you can clean the tv, but if the bird sh*t on the LNB how you can clean the signal?
Bronze Member Username: HanzPost Number: 86 Registered: Oct-06 | Does the wind really block the signals, The One? Should I put a bag over the dish then to protect it?
Bronze Member Username: Ke5aqnShawnee, OK USA Post Number: 60 Registered: Sep-06 | Just my 2 cents here.....a few years ago I lived in a apartment that would not let me put up a dish...I showed them the FCC ruling and they would not budge so...I had a large patio sliding door all glass and put my DIR**TV dish with the pole in a bucket of cement right next to the window and got 80%....so it can be done. and yes they still bitc*ed about that as well....now we are buying a house I can have 10 dishes if I want.(we use 3 for now and getting a 33" movable one soon) loved the humor on this thread I have been gone a few day's had computer trouble had to build a new one..so I needed a laugh..... |
