Sup guys, Well I hooked up my W6 today just to get a feel for it. I lazily just cut a mounting plate and screwed it onto my L7 box,(@3 cube @30hz) But anyway, The L7 was running @900 @1 ohm, and the W6 is now running @600 @2 ohms, and in all honesty, I cant tell the diffrence in SPL, or SQ. I did feel the L7 shook things a little more, I even bumped up the W6 to like 800wrms briefly and it still was comparable to the L7. Am i just tone deaf or can anyone else hear a noticble diffrence between these two? I plan on making a new boxs for the W6 this weekend box 1 (@2.5 cube @32hz) Box 2 (JL Spec). Wonder if that will make a differance? And on that subject, any one ever use Melimine for boxes? You know that white laminated MDF 3/4. Used for shelfs and cabinets.
